With over 30 years of experience in the financial world, Marnee brings a remarkable blend of technical expertise, process optimization, and client service to deliver a more seamless and thoughtful experience for you.
As Branch Operations Manager for our practice, Marnee oversees account maintenance and money movements, creates streamlined operational workflows, generates custom reports, manages tax letters, tracks RMDs, and so much more. She also helps prepare for client strategy sessions and oversees high-level projects to enhance our service model.
Marnee’s career began as an auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Boston, where she transitioned to the tax side of the practice as a specialist in Mergers & Acquisitions. During that time, she also became a licensed CPA. She went on to serve as Tax Manager at Dexter Corporation and later as Tax Director at DEKA Research & Development Corporation. In 2015, she shifted to consulting and pro bono work to spend more time homeschooling her son and giving back to the community.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from Bentley University.
A lifelong learner, Marnee is currently embracing new passions – learning American Sign Language and how to play the piano. She also enjoys reading and uses knitting as her creative outlet (especially since, as she says, “knitting is artistic math!”). One of her greatest joys in life is her son, who is currently studying at Cedarville University.
Marnee and her husband Chris met at Bentley University and married in 1997. They share not only a deep love for each other but also a life of shared service. Together, they serve in various roles at their church, volunteer weekly with a local crisis pregnancy center, and work with high school students in different capacities. Working alongside Chris professionally has turned out to be one of Marnee’s favorite parts of the job – adding yet another beautiful layer to a partnership built on mutual respect, purpose, and admiration.
